The Nokta Legend sits in Nokta's lineup alongside Nokta Simplex Ultra, Nokta Triple Score, Nokta PulseDive, Nokta Score. It uses Simultaneous multi-frequency — transmitting several frequencies at once and combining the returns. Near-VLF discrimination with near-PI ground handling: the processor subtracts the salt/ground response while keeping target signal. Costs more and drains batteries faster, but it's the best all-round answer for mixed ground. Compare it against its intended competition in our guides to the best beginner metal detectors, best beach metal detectors, best gold prospecting detectors, and see how Nokta's range stacks up on the Nokta brand page.

The Nokta Legend is a strong pick for coins detecting, but no machine is universal. Check the waterproof line before any water use, confirm the weight against your stamina, and remember that ground conditions affect real-world performance more than any spec number.
